Alphington has quietly become one of inner Melbourne's most liveable pockets — period homes, the Yarra and Darebin Creek trails on the doorstep, and a wave of considered renovations. Pools here tend to be precise rather than sprawling: lap configurations for a morning swim routine, clean geometry, and finishes that read as architecture.

Our Alphington build is a dedicated lap pool — straight-line geometry, full-length grab rails, and a black interior for year-round swimming ambience. That's typical of the brief here: owner-occupiers who'll use the pool every day and want it to look considered from the kitchen window.

Alphington straddles the City of Darebin and the City of Yarra, with many properties on the slope down toward the Yarra and Darebin Creek — sites that bring established trees, reactive clay, and the occasional fall across the block that calls for engineered retaining. Reinforced concrete lets us shape a true lap pool to the exact run of the yard. We coordinate arborist input and the relevant council permits during the design phase so protected vegetation and setbacks are resolved before drawings are locked.
